WHY I'M RUNNING
It’s official! I’m running for Judge in the 457th Judicial District for Montgomery County, Texas.
Since 2008, the caseload in our courts has been growing as fast as our population- resulting in about a 40% annual increase in cases filed in the county. At present, the county has only one full-time civil and two quasi-civil courts. This court will focus on alleviating the stress on the county’s civil court calendar.
Because of this tremendous need, I could immediately see that my skillset would be a good match. I have spent the majority of my career advising business clients on how to efficiently and effectively streamline their governance and operations. More, I think my work ethic, temperament, and personality match what a good judge should embody.
My wonderful wife Lindsey was born here in Conroe and her family has been here her entire life. Even though she moved away, she visited often and always longed to return. In 2008, we were finally able to relocate to Montgomery County; home. We love our community and can think of no better place to raise our daughter.
As a judge, my goals are to operate and conduct my courtroom in such a way that instills confidence in our citizenry that their cases will be heard as expeditiously as possible with the highest quality of fairness, civility, and accuracy according to the law. I will work to alleviate the stressors on our court system by helping the Board of Judges develop and institute best practices. Finally, I will hold myself to the highest ethical and moral standards for which judges are, and should be, held to uphold.
Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t do anything if I am not passionate about it. Though the journey will not be without its challenges, I believe the reward- on a personal, communal, and spiritual level- will be well worth it. For those who don’t yet know me, I look forward to meeting you in the upcoming months and winning your vote.
